PITMAN, N.J. – Freshman JT DeRiso (River Vale, N.J./Pascack Valley) was named the New Jersey Athletic Conference (NJAC) Baseball Rookie Pitcher of the Week Feb. 17.

He made his collegiate debut Feb. 15 at Stevens, striking out six batters in 2.2 innings of relief.

DeRiso and the Pioneers return to action Saturday, Feb. 21, for a home doubleheader against Mount Aloysius with first pitch scheduled for 11:00 a.m.
