Athletic Training Overview
 Certified Athletic Trainers are trained, skilled health care professionals who are directly responsible for the prevention, recognition, evaluation, immediate care, rehabilitation, and reconditioning of injuries. William Paterson University employs three full-time athletic trainers, all of whom are Board of Certification certified and licensed in New Jersey by the Board of Medical Examiners.

How to Become Medically Cleared
1. Contact the Counseling, Health and Wellness Center at 973 720 2360 and tell them you would like to schedule a physical for student athlete medical clearance.  
2. Complete the Impact Concussion test, which is emailed to you after your physical.
3. Complete the insurance form that your coach will provide to you.
4. If you live more than 200 miles from campus and cannot make it to campus for a physical, contact Head Athletic Trainer Alison Moquin.
