WAYNE, N.J. – The William Paterson women's basketball team held steady in the ranking, ranked eighth by ESPN/USA Today/Women's Basketball Coaches Association and ninth by D3hoops.com in the Jan. 24 national polls.

WAYNE, N.J. – William Paterson senior pitcher Michele Graham (Hawthorne, N.J./Hawthorne) was elected into Sigma Tau Delta, the International English Honor Society.  Graham, who has started all three seasons for the Pioneers inside the circle, has been a Dean's List student at WP and a two-time honorable-mention member of the New Jersey Athletic Conference (NJAC) All-Academic Team.

WAYNE, N.J. – Men’s swimming and diving sophomore Jason Koros (Mays Landing, N.J./Oakcrest) was named the William Paterson Pioneer of the Week for Jan. 23.

Koros registered a victory in the 200 back (2:05.39) against No. 7 The College of New Jersey on Jan. 21.  He turned in an excellent time of 2:01.26 to win the 200 back during a 132-99 victory against Queens Jan. 18, and he helped the 400 relay team touch first in 3:34.73.

In 2009, the William Paterson women’s soccer team won its first ECAC Metro Region Tournament championship.
Jose Rebimbas Victories and Winningest Coach
Current men’s basketball head coach Jose Rebimbas has more than 300 career victories, and is the all-time winningest coach in WP men’s basketball history.
Mike Lauterhahn Drafted by Chicago Cubs
Current Pioneer baseball head coach Mike Lauterhahn was drafted by the Chicago Cubs in 1994 after playing two seasons at William Paterson (1993-94).
Softball NJAC Titles
The Pioneer softball team has won four New Jersey Athletic Conference Tournament titles, most recently in 2009.

The William Paterson baseball team has won 11 New Jersey Athletic Conference Tournament championships.

Ed Gurka has more than 600 victories in his 35 seasons as the men’s and women’s swimming and diving head coach.

The William Paterson University men’s basketball team has made 14 NCAA Tournament appearances since 1975, including a 2001 runner-up finish and a 1999 Final Four berth.

In 2008, goalie Christina Auger and forward Meghan Hall were named to the National Field Hockey Coaches Association (NFHCA) Division III All-America First Team.

Current volleyball head coach Sandy Ferrarella is 14th among active Division III coaches with 559 career victories.
Women's Basketball NJAC Champions
In 1993, the William Paterson women’s basketball team clinched its first New Jersey Athletic Conference Tournament title. In 2011, the Pioneers won their second championship.
Jose Rebimbas Seton Hall Experience
Current men’s basketball head coach Jose Rebimbas played four years at Seton Hall University (1986-90) and was a member of the Pirate squad that played for the 1989 NCAA Division I national championship.
Baseball Professionals
Since 1972, 34 Pioneer baseball players have signed professional contracts with Major League Baseball and independent teams.

The William Paterson baseball team won the 1992 and 1996 NCAA Division III national championships.
Jerry Flora, Iona College Starter
Current football head coach Jerry Flora was a three-year starter at offensive tackle at Iona before emerging as the starting tight end his senior year.

Former Pioneer men’s basketball standout and National Player of the Year Horace Jenkins played for the Detroit Pistons, one of 12 former Pioneers to play professional basketball since 1995.

In 1998, Cindy Laudien became the first Pioneer women’s soccer player to be named an All-American; Ali Ruddy was the second when she was a second-team pick in 2010.

Jeff Albies Accomplishments
