PITMAN, N.J. – Senior Luca Misko (Bridgewater, N.J./Bridgewater Raritan) was named the New Jersey Athletic Conference (NJAC) Men's Soccer Defensive Player of the Week Sept. 2.

He compiled six saves while allowing just one goal to help WP post a 1-0-1 record. The Bridgewater, N.J., native recorded a clean sheet to open the week after making two stops during a 6-0 road triumph over Penn State Brandywine Aug. 30. He followed that performance by making four stops, including a timely save on a penalty kick in the 86th minute that kept the score even, during a 1-1 road draw at No. 21 Stevens.

Misko and the Pioneers return to action Saturday, Sept. 6, when they take on Christopher Newport at 5:00 p.m. in Newport News, Va.
