PITMAN, N.J. – Senior Luca Misko (Bridgewater, N.J./Bridgewater Raritan) was named the New Jersey Athletic Conference (NJAC) Men's Soccer Defensive Player of the Week Oct. 6.

Misko recorded 14 saves while allowing just one goal in a pair of conference wins this past week.

He opened the week with a seven-save outing during a 2-1 road win at Ramapo Oct. 1. Three of his stops came in the final 25 minutes of action to help WP preserve its one-goal advantage.

The Bridgewater, N.J., native then logged seven saves while posting his fourth clean sheet of the season during a 1-0 win at Rutgers-Newark Oct. 4.

Misko and the Pioneers return to action Wednesday, Oct. 8, for a 7:00 p.m. game against FDU-Florham at Pioneer Soccer Park.
