No. 22 Men's Soccer Suffers 1-0 Loss

Penalty Kick is Difference Against Susquehanna

YORK, Pa. – The No. 22 William Paterson men's soccer team (1-2) dropped a 1-0 decision against Susquehanna (4-0) at the Holiday Inn Conference Center Classic first round Sept. 8 in York, Pa.

A penalty kick converted by Zach Ziegler in the 41st minute was the only goal of the match.  Sophomore goalkeeper Santiago Mesa (Paterson, N.J./Passaic County Tech) made one save for the Pioneers, and Matt Salsman had three stops for the Crusaders.

William Paterson will face McDaniel in the consolation match Sunday, Sept. 9, at 1:15 p.m.
