HACKETTSTOWN, N.J. – Four Pioneers found the back of the net as the William Paterson men's soccer team (2-2-1) powered past Centenary (1-2), 5-0, in a non-conference road contest Sept. 9.

HOW IT HAPPENED:

• In the third minute, freshman Adrian Qira's (Paramus, N.J./Paramus) shot on goal was denied, but sophomore Patrick Kudron (Chester, N.J./Mendham) rifled the loose ball into the back of the net to put the Pioneers ahead, 1-0.  
• WP extended its advantage to 3-0 after senior Seydou Camara (Wood-Ridge, N.J./Wood-Ridge) buried a shot in the 30th minute and sophomore Vincent Richard (North Arlington, N.J./North Arlington) scored one minute later.
• In the 48th minute, junior Jaden Blount (Piscataway, N.J./Piscataway) found senior Jimmy Bruno (Manalapan, N.J./Manalapan) for a goal to extend the advantage to 4-0.
• Bruno added his second score of the day in the 69th minute to make it a five-goal game (5-0).

INSIDE THE NUMBERS:

• Kudron netted his first collegiate goal.
• Camara scored his first goal of the season.
• Richard netted his second goal of the year.
• Bruno recorded his first career brace.
• Blount notched his first assist of the season.
• Freshman Riccardo Prati (Milan, Italy/Alexis Carrel) made three saves, posting a clean sheet in his collegiate debut.
