Scored 680 points during both the 1952-53 and 1953-54 seasons, and led team in rebounding as a sophomore, before serving in the U.S. Army during the Korean War (1954-56)
Scored 300 points and led the team in rebounding as a junior (1956-57)
Averaged 16.2 points per game and led team in rebounding as a senior (1957-58)
