• Secured the school’s second baseball national title while compiling a 39-5-1 overall record and a 17-1 NJAC record
• Jeff Albies was named the ABCA National Coach of the Year, as well as the Regional and NJAC Coach of the Year
• World Series MVP: Mark DeMenna; World Series All-Tournament Team: Paul Bumbaco, Eduardo Gomez, Brian Lindner
• All-America Team: Brian Appelman, Brian Kelly, Brian Lindner
• All-Conference Team: Brian Lindner (Player of the Year), Bob Slomkowski (Pitcher of the Year), Brian Appelman, Paul Bumbaco, Dan Egbert, Brian Kelly, Dan Lauterhahn
• Pioneers also won their 10th New Jersey Athletic Conference (NJAC) crown and their sixth NCAA Regional title
• Following a three-run homer by DeMenna in the bottom of the eighth, two more hits put the go-ahead run on for junior first baseman Greg Cimilluca, who singled in both runners and put the Pioneers on top, 6-5; William Paterson retired the Kingsmen in the top of the ninth to take home the national championship
