·         Won 21 of 25 races, finishing second the other four times

·         Won NAIA District #31 Championship, 1959

·         Runner-up in the NAIA District #31 Championship, 1960 and 1961

·         Runner-up in the Conference Championship as a freshman, 1959

·         Won the Conference Championship in 1960 and 1961, but missed his senior year due to injury
