• Set the WPC course record, and set record for most career dual-meet wins, 1967
• Set his third consecutive five-mile WPC cross country record with a 25:04 time, 1967
• Earned two WPC MVP awards, 1966 and 1967
• Named to the All-Conference Team, 1967 and 1968, honorable mention, 1965
• Captained the 1968 team to a 15-1 record
• Invited to the National Championships in 1967
