• Started the first varsity swimming and diving program at Paterson State
• Coached the team from 1966 through the 1973-74 season, building it into one of the best programs in the region
• Led PSC to the 1970, 1971 and 1972 New Jersey State College Conference championships
• Paterson State was 16-0 in 1968-69, earning the school a spot in the NJSCC
