PITMAN, N.J. – Junior
Jada Jacobs (Mount Laurel, N.J./Medford Tech) was named the New Jersey Athletic Conference (NJAC) Women's Basketball Defensive Player of the Week Jan. 26.
Jacobs averaged 12.5 points, 10.5 rebounds, 3.0 steals and 1.0 block per game during a 2-0 week for the Pioneers.
She recorded a game-high four steals while adding eight rebounds and five points during a 61-47 home win against The College of New Jersey Jan. 21. She then logged her first career double-double, finishing with a career-high 20 points and 13 rebounds on Jan. 24 during a 60-51 win at Stockton. She also tallied two steals and a pair of blocks opposite the Ospreys.
Jacobs and the Pioneers return to action Wednesday, Jan. 28, for a 5:30 p.m. conference home game against Montclair State.
