PITMAN, N.J. – Sophomore 
Bella Demers (Maumee, Ohio/Maumee) and freshman 
Riley Elliott (El Dorado Hills, Calif./Oak Ridge) collected New Jersey Athletic Conference (NJAC) weekly honors Nov. 3.
Demers earned her fourth NJAC Defensive Player of the Week nod, while Elliott received Rookie of the Week honors for the first time this season.
Demers compiled 56 digs (5.60 digs/set) with 10 assists and three aces across three wins. She posted match highs in each of the outings, including a 24-dig performance during a 3-1 home win against Stevens on Oct. 30.
Elliott finished the week with 42 kills (4.67 kills/set), 14 digs and 10 aces. She logged a season-best 24 kills while adding four aces and four digs during the home win over Stevens. She additionally posted a pair of nine-kill outings in home victories versus Ramapo and Hunter.
Demers, Elliott and the Pioneers return to action Tuesday, Nov. 4, for a 7:00 p.m. conference match at Rutgers-Newark.
