WAYNE, N.J. – Senior
Sarah Mantilla (Fair Lawn, N.J./Fair Lawn), juniors
Maria Funiciello (Wayne, N.J./Wayne Valley),
Christina Jimenez (Bayville, N.J./Central Regional) and
Isabella Sarra (Saddle Brook, N.J./Saddle Brook), along with sophomores
Kiley Hines (Riverton, N.J./Palmyra) and
Michaela Kerr (West Deptford, N.J./West Deptford), were named to the College Sports Communicators (CSC) Academic All-District Women's Soccer Team Nov. 25.
The 2025 Academic All-District® Women's Soccer Teams, selected by College Sports Communicators, recognize the nation's top student-athletes for their combined performances on the field and in the classroom. To be nominated, a student-athlete must be a starter or important reserve with at least a 3.50 cumulative grade point average (on a 4.0 scale) at their current institution. No student-athlete is eligible until they have completed one full calendar year at their current institution and is at least a sophomore academically and athletically.
Mantilla earned the starting nod in goal during 17 matches, compiling an .805 save percentage, 128 saves and four shutouts while double majoring in criminology and criminal justice and sociology.
Funiciello started all 18 matches, registering two assists as a physical education major.
Jimenez, a psychology major, scored three goals and dished out a team-best three assists while starting all 18 matches.
As a marketing major, Sarra found the back of the net twice in 18 starts during her junior campaign.
Hines started all 18 appearances and dished out an assist as a nursing major.
While double majoring in management and professional sales, Kerr found the back of the net once in 18 starts.
