WAYNE, N.J. –
Bruce Chamberlain was named William Paterson's new head men's golf coach August 5.
"We are excited to announce Bruce as the next head coach of our William Paterson golf program," William Paterson's Director of Intercollegiate Athletics and Recreation Kristen Foley said. "Elevating him into his new role was an easy decision as he brings an enthusiastic energy, a wealth of knowledge and a passion for developing young people. We look forward to his continued impact on our golf program and student-athletes."
Chamberlain takes over the helm of the program after spending the previous two seasons as an assistant coach for the Pioneers. Â
"I have enjoyed working with the program for the past two years as an assistant," Chamberlain said. "Each of our returning student-athletes had a personal-best round last year and I'm looking forward to seeing continued improvement."
Chamberlain played four years of golf for the Montclair State College teams (1976-79), serving as captain and earning all-conference status his senior year.
