PITMAN, N.J. – William Paterson baseball junior Will Pitt (Bloomingburg, N.Y./Don Bosco Prep) and senior swimmer Nicole Kahwaty (Lake Hopatcong, N.J./Morris County Tech) earned spots on the 2023-24 Academic All-New Jersey Athletic Conference (NJAC) First Team, leading a list of 78 WP honorees.

Senior Nick Nielson (Avenel, N.J./Colonia) of the baseball team and junior Brianna De La Cruz (Clifton, N.J./Clifton) of the women's soccer team garnered second-team accolades, while 74 other Pioneers received honorable-mention laurels.

Pitt carried a 3.945 cumulative grade-point average as an exercise science major while Kahwaty owned a perfect 4.000 GPA as an elementary education and psychology double major en route to her second consecutive first-team selection. Nielson posted a 3.882 GPA while De La Cruz, a 2022-23 academic all-conference honorable mention honoree, logged a 3.989 GPA.
