WAYNE, N.J. – Juniors
Kristian Glenn (Weston, Fla./Cypress Bay),
Laura Gruener (Hackettstown, N.J./Hackettstown),
Abby Houpt (Garnet Valley, Pa./Garnet Valley) and
Cecilia Miller (Virginia Beach, Va./First Colonial) were named to the College Sports Communicators (CSC) Academic All-District Women's Volleyball Team Dec. 16.
The 2025 Academic All-District® Women's Volleyball Teams, selected by College Sports Communicators, recognize the nation's top student-athletes for their combined performances on the court and in the classroom. To be nominated, a student-athlete must be a starter or important reserve with at least a 3.50 cumulative grade point average (on a 4.0 scale) at their current institution. No student-athlete is eligible until they have completed one full calendar year at their current institution and is at least a sophomore academically and athletically.
Glenn was an all-region and all-conference honoree, posting 235 kills and 49 blocks during 105 sets across 30 matches. She recorded a team-best .301 attack percentage as a finance major.
Gruener, a public relations major, logged 156 kills in 111 sets while leading the Pioneers in blocks (81) and blocks per set (0.73).
Houp was named to the all-conference team and led the Pioneers in assists (920), assists per set (8.68) and service aces (54) while playing in 106 sets. The nursing major added 218 digs and 30 blocks.
Miller, an all-conference selection, paced the Pioneers with 309 kills and 3.09 kills per set during 100 sets. The Virginia Beach, Va., native contributed 180 digs and 22 blocks as a biology major.
