Men's Swimming and Diving Tops Purchase, 94-68

Sharkey, Logue and Belina are Double Winners

Senior Eamon Logue touched first in the 200 IM and 100 fly.

PURCHASE, N.Y. – Three double winners led the way as the men's swimming and diving team (4-3, 0-1 NJAC) defeated Purchase (2-3, 1-1 Skyline) with a score of 94-68 Nov. 12.

TOP PERFORMERS:

Junior Bradley Belina (Paramus, N.J./Paramus) out-touched the competition in the 200 free with a time of 2:05.50. He was also victorious in the 500 free with his personal-best time of 5:27.99.
Jimmy Sharkey (Hamilton, N.J./Hamilton West) claimed both the 1000 free and the 100 free. The senior posted the team's best times in both the 1000 free (11:12.03) and in the 100 free (53.37) so far this season.
Senior Eamon Logue (Vernon, N.J./Vernon Twp.) was the third double winner of the night. He posted personal-best performances in the 200 IM (2:15.31) and the 100 fly (58.29).
Classmates Valentine Perez (Hamilton, N.J./Hamilton) and Honacy Beco Jr. (Wantage, N.J./High Point Regional) both took first place in the meet against the Panthers. Perez was the winner of the 100 breast (1:15.95) while Beco Jr. was victorious in the 50 free (25.57).
