A Group Effort Guides Men's Swimming and Diving to a 88-61 Victory Against Purchase

Junior Eamon Logue Completes the Meet as a Double Winner

WAYNE, N.J. – The men's swimming and diving team (9-3, 0-1 NJAC) notched its sixth straight victory by dominating Purchase (0-10, 0-4 Skyline), 88-61, in a non-conference meet Jan. 22.

TOP PERFORMERS:

Junior Eamon Logue (Vernon, N.J./Vernon Twp.) collected two victories against the Panthers. The double winner finished the 200 free in 1:59.69 and the 50 fly in 25.25.
Bradley Belina (Paramus, N.J./Paramus) earned his first collegiate win in the 500 free with a personal best time of 5:24.39. The sophomore swam another personal best time of 2:01.39 to take second place in the 200 free.
Sophomore Valentine Perez (Hamilton, N.J./Hamilton) touched first in the 100 free (55.18).
Sophomore Thomas Haughey (Folsom, Pa./Ridley) swam the 50 back in 30.25 to add to the Pioneer victories.
Drew Macchia (Chatham, N.J./Chatham) took first in the 50 free. The senior recorded a time of 23.44.
Junior Jimmy Sharkey (Hamilton, N.J./Hamilton West) finished the 1000 free first (11:12.03) to earn another win for William Paterson.
