COBLESKILL, N.Y. – Junior
Jimmy Sharkey (Hamilton, N.J./Hamilton West) was a double winner as the William Paterson men's swimming and diving team (7-3, 0-1 NJAC) bested SUNY Cobleskill (4-10), 105-65, Jan. 15.
TOP PERFORMERS:
- Jimmy Sharkey (Hamilton, N.J./Hamilton West) touched first in the 1650 free with a time of 18:52.82 and the 500 free in 5:28.53 to claim his victories in the meet.
- Senior Drew Macchia (Chatham, N.J./Chatham) notched solid times against the Fighting Tigers. He won the 200 IM in 2:24.65 and came in second in the 100 free with a time of 51.29.
- Posting a personal best time, sophomore Jonathan Vela (Prospect Park, N.J./Passaic County Tech) came in second in the 100 fly with a time of 1:01.48.
- Sophomore Bradley Belina (Paramus, N.J./Paramus) also tallied a personal best by touching second in the 1650 free with a time of 19:12.42.

- The seniors will be recognized at the next meet on Saturday, Jan. 19, at 1:00 p.m. as William Paterson hosts Bard.
