PURCHASE, N.Y. – The William Paterson men's swimming and diving team (1-3) defeated Purchase (0-5), 95-81, Dec. 1.

Senior Sebastian Schrils (Washington, N.J./Warren Hills Regional) was a double-winner for the Pioneers, placing first in the 50 free (23.10) and 100 fly (56.73). Classmate Alex Carpenter (Jackson, N.J./Jackson Memorial) touched first in the 1,000 free with a personal-best time (11:25.53). 

Sophomore Donado Dervishi (Garfield, N.J./Garfield) posted a winning time in the 200 IM (2:14.16), and classmate Evan Marine (Forked River, N.J./Lacey Twp.) placed first in the 100 back (1:02.38). Senior Joseph Pannullo (Hazlet, N.J./Raritan) won the 200 free (2:03.00) and sophomore Bobby Boyton (Sewell, N.J./Clearview Regional) finished first in the 100 free (53.29).

William Paterson returns home to face Maritime on Tuesday, Dec. 4, at 6:00 p.m.
