PITMAN, N.J. – William Paterson junior outside hitter Kim Runge (Closter, N.J./Northern Valley Regional-Demarest) was named to the New Jersey Athletic Conference (NJAC) Volleyball All-First Team, while junior outside hitter/setter Megan Maher (Wood-Ridge, N.J./Wood-Ridge) earned a spot on the All-NJAC Second Team, the league office announced Nov. 4.

Runge, in her first season as a Pioneer after transferring from Ramapo, ranks second in the conference in kills (3.08 per set) while leading the Pioneers in digs (3.32 per set, eighth in NJAC) and compiling a .262 hitting percentage. She has posted 16 double-digit kills totals, 15 double-digit digs efforts and 10 double-doubles this season. 

An honorable-mention all-league selection last fall, Maher ranks second for William Paterson in kills (2.91 per set, fifth in NJAC) and assists (3.25 per set, 10th in conference) while adding 2.55 digs and 0.57 service ace (ninth in NJAC) per set. Fourth in the league in points/set (3.61), she has posted 12 double-digit kills totals, 17 double-digit assists matches, 12 double-digit digs efforts, seven triples-doubles and 10 double-doubles this season.

William Paterson finished its season 20-6 overall and 4-4 in conference play, reaching the first round of the NJAC Tournament.
