PITMAN, N.J. – William Paterson freshman forward
Eze (Sayreville, N.J./Sayreville War Memorial) was selected as the Nov. 15 New Jersey Athletic Conference (NJAC) Men's Soccer Rookie of the Week.
Eze scored the eventual game winner in the 62nd minute of a 2-1 first-round NCAA Tournament victory against Thomas on Nov. 13. It was the first NCAA Tournament win in William Paterson men's soccer history. Eze later recorded one shot during a 2-1 loss at Middlebury Nov. 14 in the second round.
Eze is the fifth Pioneer to be recognized by the conference this fall. Senior back

Michael Encarnacion (Franklin, N.J./Passaic County Tech) was selected as the NJAC Defensive Player of the Week on two occasions (Sept.6 and Oct. 11), and freshman forward
Mike Lowe (Wilmington, Del./Alexis I. duPont) was honored as NJAC Rookie of the Week on Sept. 13 and Oct. 4.
William Paterson's men's soccer team finished the season 14-4-3 overall and 6-2-1 in conference play.
