WAYNE, N.J. – Women’s swimming senior Cathy Hartwell (Toms River, N.J./Toms River East) was named the William Paterson Pioneer of the Week Jan. 26.

 

Hartwell touched first in both the 50 (26.68) and 100 (57.73) frees during a 120-118 win at Division II Queens College Jan. 21, and also was a part of the 400 medley relay team that turned in a winning time of 4:24.12. At The College of New Jersey Jan. 25, she was the Pioneers’ lone individual winner, finishing first in the 50 (25.86) and 100 (56.81) frees.  Hartwell also helped post a winning time of 1:57.57 in the 200 medley relay against the Lions.
