WAYNE, N.J. – Volleyball junior setter Kendall Caruso was named the Sept. 11 William Paterson Pioneer of the Week.
 
Caruso had an effective week leading the Pioneer offensive attack, compiling over eight assists per set (8.11) and 73 total assists over three matches for the week. The Secaucus native started her week with a 30 assist output against Baruch in a 3-0 William Paterson victory. Caruso also added nine digs in the match, narrowly missing a double-double. Following the performance, Caruso racked up 29 assists in another 3-0 victory over St. Joseph’s (Brooklyn) before rounding out the week with her first double-double of the season with 14 assists and 14 digs in a loss to the United States Merchant Marine Academy on Saturday.
