WAYNE, N.J. – Men’s basketball senior guard Galen Smith (Piscataway, N.J./Piscataway Tech) was selected as the Dec. 5 William Paterson Pioneer of the Week.
 
Smith was 4-for-8 (.500) from the field, including making two of his four three-point attempts, for 14 points Nov. 30 against New Jersey City while adding four rebounds and two assists. On Dec. 3 at Rowan, he knocked down seven of 13 (.538) attempts from the floor for 18 tallies, chipping in seven rebounds and a pair of assists.
