WAYNE, N.J. – Field hockey junior forward Christina Ayusa (Runnemede, N.J./Triton) was named the William Paterson Pioneer of the Week Sept. 29.

Ayusa had a five-point week for the Pioneers, beginning with a pair of goals in a 4-3 double-overtime victory against Eastern Sept. 23. For the second time this year, she lifted William Paterson to victory with a game-winning goal during extra time. The junior forward finished the week with an assist at No. 3 The College of New Jersey Sept. 26.
