WAYNE, N.J. – Sophomore softball outfielder Nicole Fryer (East Stroudsburg, Pa./East Stroudsburg South) was named the April 6 William Paterson Pioneer of the Week.
Fryer hit .438 (7-16) in four starts with a double, triple, home run, three RBI and two runs scored, posting an .812 slugging percentage and a .471 on-base percentage. She was 3-for-5 with a triple against Stevens April 2, then hit a two-run home run in a 4-1 win at Rutgers-Newark April 4. Fryer also finished 2-for-4 with an RBI and run scored during a 12-3 victory in the night cap against the Scarlet Raiders.
