WAYNE, N.J. – Sophomore softball outfielder Nicole Fryer (East Stroudsburg, Pa./East Stroudsburg South) was named the May 4 William Paterson Pioneer of the Week.
 
Fryer hit .556 (5-9) during three New Jersey Athletic Conference (NJAC) Tournament games last week. She was 1-for-3 and scored a run during a 5-0 opening victory against The College of New Jersey April 28, then went 2-for-3 with a double and run scored May 1 against Ramapo. Fryer also finished 2-for-3 with a triple and two RBI against No. 9 Rowan May 3.
