WAYNE, N.J. – Senior softball third baseman Jessica Maciolek (Hamilton, N.J./Steinert) was named the William Paterson Pioneer of the Week for May 6.
Maciolek batted .600 (3-5) during the New Jersey Athletic Conference (NJAC) Tournament, compiling a .600 slugging percentage and a .667 on-base percentage. She was 2-for-3 at No. 17 Rowan, driving in the Pioneers’ run with a fourth-inning single. She finished 1-for-2 at No. 12 Montclair State May 4, and for the two games she posted a 1.000 fielding percentage in eight total chances (two putouts, six assists).
