WAYNE, N.J. – Men’s soccer senior forward Anthony Ferrer (Lake Hiawatha, N.J./Parsippany) was named the William Paterson Pioneer of the Week for Sept. 19.

Ferrer scored a pair of goals during the Pioneers' 5-0 New Jersey Athletic Conference (NJAC) victory against New Jersey City Sept. 17. He converted a penalty kick in the 55th minute and headed in a corner kick in the 78th minute against the Gothic Knights. Ferrer is tied for the team lead with seven goals in seven matches this season, and has added two assists for 16 points.
