WAYNE, N.J. – Softball senior third baseman Casey Sierra (Ringwood, N.J./Lakeland Regional) was named the William Paterson Pioneer of the Week April 5.

 

Sierra hit .800 (4-5) during a doubleheader sweep of New Jersey City April 2, collecting a double, one run and three RBI. She also had a sacrifice for a 1.000 slugging percentage and an .800 on-base percentage. Sierra was 2-for-2 with a double, run and two RBI during an opening 6-1 victory, and went 2-for-3 and drove in a run during a 6-0 win in the night cap.
