PITMAN, N.J. – Freshman Sara Rogers (Dacula, Ga./Mill Creek) was named the New Jersey Athletic Conference (NJAC) Women's Volleyball Rookie of the Week Sept. 14.

Rogers compiled 79 assists (6.08 assists/set) with 18 digs and seven service aces across three matches for Pioneers this past weekend.

She dished out a team-high 18 assists versus No. 22 Christopher Newport Sept. 11 before registering a match-best 28 assists during a 3-1 home victory against Centenary later that day. The Dacula, Ga., native wrapped up the weekend with her second career double-double after recording a career-high 33 assists to go with 13 digs against No. RV William Smith on Sept. 12.

Rogers and the Pioneers return to action Friday, Sept. 18, for a 7:00 p.m. game at Stevens.
