PITMAN, N.J. – Juniors
Ty Kobylakiewicz (Woodbridge, N.J./Woodbridge),
Jose Marte (Bogota, N.J./Bogota) and
Devin Daproza (Englewood, N.J./Leonia) received All-New Jersey Athletic Conference (NJAC) Baseball Team honors April 29.
Ty Kobylakiewicz (Woodbridge, N.J./Woodbridge): All-NJAC First Team
Kobylakiewicz, now a two-time all-conference selection, led the Pioneers with 27 hits, seven doubles and a .375 batting average while starting all 18 NJAC outings. The Woodbridge, N.J., native also posted a .514 slugging percentage and .448 on-base percentage with 20 RBI and seven runs scored. He ranked inside the top 10 in the conference in slugging percentage, hits and doubles.
Jose Marte (Bogota, N.J./Bogota): All-NJAC Second Team
Marte made five starts in NJAC play, finishing 3-1 with a team-best 2.08 ERA and 20 strikeouts across 34.2 innings of work. He was third in the conference in ERA and innings pitched, while sitting tied for fourth in wins and tied for seventh in punchouts.
Devin Daproza (Englewood, N.J./Leonia): All-NJAC Second Team
Daproza compiled a .365 batting average, .554 on-base percentage and .492 slugging percentage with 23 hits, four doubles, two triples, 25 runs scored, nine RBI and seven stolen bases while starting all 18 conference contests. He finished tied for second in the NJAC in runs scored and was fourth in on-base percentage while walking a conference-best 27 times.
