NCAA Tournament Bracket
WAYNE, N.J. – For the 12th time in program history, and the first since the 2012-13 season, the No. RV/19 William Paterson women's basketball team has earned a spot in the NCAA Tournament.
The Pioneers played to a 25-2 overall record to receive an at-large bid and will open against No. 13/10 Baldwin Wallace (24-3, 16-0 OAC) Friday, March 6, at 5:00 p.m. at Johns Hopkins University.
TICKETS
- Gates will open one hour prior to start time on both days. All fans must enter and exit through the main entrance of the Newton White Athletic Center - the entrance to Goldfarb Gymnasium is accessible via the main lobby of the Newton White Athletic Center
- Ticket prices are $15.00 for adults, $10.00 for seniors (65+), students and children. Children (ages 2 and under) are free.

WHAT'S AT STAKE
- The winner of the matchup between William Paterson and Baldwin Wallace will advance to the round of 32 to face the winner of Hunter and host Johns Hopkins at 7:30 p.m.
WP IN THE NCAA TOURNAMENT
- The Pioneers have won each of their last three first-round matchups in the NCAA Tournament, securing an 81-47 win against Keuka in 2011, a 79-44 victory over Salve Regina in 2012 and a 71-64 win opposite Gettysburg in 2013.
SCOUTING THE PIONEERS
- William Paterson put together one of its most historic seasons in program history and enters the NCAA Tournament with a 25-2 overall record.
- The Pioneers won 15 of their last 16 outings, which includes seven victories away from the Sports and Recreation Center.
- The NJAC Player of the Year, Renee Wells (Leonardo, N.J./Middletown South), averages a team-best 17.2 points per contest while registering 5.9 rebounds, 2.7 assists and 2.0 steals per game.
- Junior Jada Jacobs (Mount Laurel, N.J./Medford Tech), the NJAC Defensive Player of the Year, has totaled 9.7 points per tilt and leads the team with 6.7 rebounds, 3.9 assists and 3.4 steals per game.
- Senior Patty Walsh (Middletown, N.J./Middletown North), an all-conference honoree, averages 10.7 points and 6.6 boards per game and a team-high 2.0 blocks per outing.
SCOUTING THE YELLOW JACKETS
- Baldwin Wallace went 23-2 overall and 16-0 in the Ohio Athletic Conference (OAC) during the regular season, before falling 51-45 in the conference tournament final to Otterbein.
- Prior to the loss to Otterbein, Baldwin Wallace was riding a 21-game win streak.
- The Yellow Jackets, who are making their 20th NCAA Tournament appearance, feature a balanced scoring attack, led by senior guard Leah Riley, who averages a team-best 9.8 points and 2.2 assists per game off the bench.
- Senior forward Brooke Thompson is the team's top rebounder, reeling in 6.9 boards per contest, while adding 7.8 points per tilt.
