PITMAN, N.J. – Sophomore Terrill Yankson (Willingboro, N.J./Willingboro) was named the New Jersey Athletic Conference (NJAC) Football Defensive Player of the Week Sept. 22.

He posted a career-high nine tackles (six solo) with two tackles for loss, a forced fumble and a fumble recovery during the Pioneers' home opener against Salve Regina Sept. 20.

Yankson and the Pioneers return to play Saturday, Sept. 27, for a 1:00 p.m. game at Moravian.
