MENDHAM, N.J. – The William Paterson golf team registered a seventh-place finish at the 11-team FDU-Florham Fall Invitational Sept. 15.
 
INSIDE THE NUMBERS:

• Senior Gavin Deeken (Waldwick, N.J./Waldwick) led the Pioneers with a round of 80 (+8, 13th), followed by freshman Adam Avery (Butler, N.J./Butler) with an 85 (+13, tied-28th).
• Senior Nicholas Petti (Wayne, N.J./Passaic County Tech) carded an 86 (+14, tied-32nd), classmate Tyler Ruban (Oak Ridge, N.J./Jefferson Twp.) shot an 88 (+16, 38th), and senior Rob Egan (Chester, N.Y./Saint Joseph Regional) had a 93 (+21, tied-46th).
• WP tallied a team score of 339 (+51) at the par-72, 6428-yard Mendham Golf and Tennis Club. Kean took the team (303) and individual (Logan Perrone, 70, -2) top spots.

• William Paterson will compete at the Kean Cougar Invitational Thursday, Sept. 25, at Galloping Hill Golf Course at 11:00 a.m.
