PITMAN, N.J. – William Paterson senior forward Ethan Paul (Toms River, N.J./Toms River North) was named the Dec. 22 New Jersey Athletic Conference (NJAC) Men's Basketball Defensive Player of the Week.

Paul averaged 22.0 points, 11.0 rebounds and 2.0 blocked shots during two contests last week. During an 87-78 win Dec. 16 at Mount Saint Vincent, he posted 26 points, 10 rebounds and two blocks. At Old Westbury Dec. 18, he collected 18 points, 12 rebounds and two blocked shots.
 
Earlier this season, WP junior forward Fred Orock Jr. (Williamstown, N.J./Williamstown) was selected as the Dec. 15 NJAC Defensive Player of the Week.

William Paterson (6-6, 1-4 NJAC) will enjoy an extended break, returning to action Wednesday, Jan. 7, at Kean at 7:30 p.m.
