Golf Places Fourth at Rutgers-Camden Scarlet Raptor Fall Invitational

Results 

WILLINGBORO, N.J. – The William Paterson golf team completed its fall schedule with a fourth-place finish Oct. 27 at the Rutgers-Camden Scarlet Raptor Fall Invitational.
 
INSIDE THE NUMBERS:
  • Senior Nicholas Petti (Wayne, N.J./Passaic County Tech) led the Pioneers with a round of 83 (+12, sixth), and sophomore Luke Dube (Bethel, Conn./Joel Barlow) carded a season-best 84 (+13, tied-seventh).
  • Freshman Adam Avery (Butler, N.J./Butler) posted an 89 (+18, tied-20th), senior Gavin Deeken (Waldwick, N.J./Waldwick) shot a 91 (+20, 24th), and senior Rob Egan (Chester, N.Y./Saint Joseph Regional) scored a 99 (+28, tied-26th).
  • Competing as individuals, senior Luke Fournier (Secaucus, N.J./Secaucus) had a round of 95 (+24, 28th) and classmate Michael Romanelli (Vernon, N.J./Vernon Twp.) posted a 113 (+42, 31st).
  • William Paterson had a team total of 347 at the par-71, 6,602-yard Rancocas Golf Course. Rutgers-Camden (311) was the top finisher at the six-team event, and the Scarlet Raptors' Santino Leone was the medalist (74, +3).
