DANBURY, Conn. – Freshman Ty Kobylakiewicz (Woodbridge, N.J./Woodbridge) was named to the Eastern College Athletic Conference (ECAC) Baseball Team June 4.

Kobylakiewicz posted a standout rookie campaign for the Pioneers that was highlighted by being the first freshman in program history since 2007 to be named to the All-New Jersey Athletic Conference (NJAC) First Team in late April.

The Woodbridge, N.J., native compiled a team-best .368 batting average with a .436 on-base percentage and .563 slugging percentage. He paced the team in hits (53) and doubles (13), while finishing tied for the team lead in runs scored (29). He additionally ranked second on the team in RBI with 28 and home runs with five.
