OXFORD, Pa. – William Paterson sits fifth of five teams after the first round of the 2021 Atlantic East Men's Golf Championship April 23.

INSIDE THE NUMBERS:

Junior Jack Maloney (Sparta, N.J./Sparta) is tied for fourth place individually after one round with a 10-over 82.
Junior Yash Dave (West Windsor, N.J./West Windsor Plainsboro H.S. South) carded a 96 (+24, 19th), one shot ahead of senior Tim Kunz (Commack, N.Y./Commack) with a 97 (+25, tied-20th).
Freshman Anthony Slekis (Fairfield, N.J./West Essex) was 23rd with a 99 (+27), and sophomore Thomas Hatch (Kinnelon, N.J./Kinnelon) carded a 117 (+45, 28th).
WP had a day-one total of 374 (+86) at the par-72, 6,655-yard Wyncote Golf Club. Cabrini leads the team (326, +38) and individual (Sean Casper, 75, +3) scores after the first round.
