SHAWNEE-ON-DELAWARE, Pa. – The William Paterson golf team placed 14th of 16 teams at the Conquer the Island Tournament April 15 at the par-72, 6,725-yard Shawnee Inn and Golf Resort.
 
INSIDE THE NUMBERS:

• Junior Rob Egan (Chester, N.Y./Saint Joseph Regional) shot a season-best 80 (+8) to tie for 21st individually.
• Junior Gavin Deeken (Waldwick, N.J./Waldwick) carded an 86 (+14, tied-51st) and senior Lorenzo Assante (Montville, N.J./Montville Twp.) posted a 93 (+21, tied-67th).
• Junior Nicholas Petti (Wayne, N.J./Passaic County Tech) had a round of 95 (+23, tied-70th), while junior Luke Fournier (Secaucus, N.J./Secaucus) scored a 97 (+25, tied-73rd).
• WP had a team total of 354 (+66). Drew took the team (299, +11) and individual (Elliot Parker, 72) titles.
• Senior Emily Feola (Lake Hiawatha, N.J./Parsippany) played as individual at the women's event, carding a 109 (+37, 20th).

• William Paterson will conclude its spring schedule Monday, April 28, when the Pioneers host the Preakness Invitational at Preakness Valley Golf Course.
