Box Score MADISON, N.J. – Senior forward Brianne Cox (Browns Mills, N.J./Pemberton Twp.) scored her eighth goal of the year but it wasn't enough as the William Paterson field hockey team (4-3) dropped a 3-1 decision at Drew (5-0) Sept. 19.

Gagliano gave the Rangers a 1-0 lead in the 21st minute, but Cox evened it up four minutes later when she finished senior Jacqui Giammetta's (Wayne, N.J./Wayne Hills) pass to the far post.

A Gagliano breakaway led to a Sam Barcia goal at the 25:24 mark, and Gagliano finished the scoring in the 53rd minute with a penalty-corner goal.

Senior Kellye Statz (Robbinsville, N.J./Robbinsville) had 15 saves for the Pioneers, and CC Carlini did not make a stop for Drew.

William Paterson will return home to face Wesley Saturday, Sept. 21, at 1:00 p.m.
