Field Hockey Drops Contest to Union

WAYNE, N.J. – The William Paterson field hockey team (0-5) was defeated at home by Union (4-1), 5-0, Sept. 19.
 
HOW IT HAPPENED:
  • Union got on the scoreboard early in the 5th minute.
  • The Garnet Chargers tacked on three more goals in the first half, resulting in a 4-0 lead.
  • In the final minute, Union found the back of the cage to earn the 5-0 victory.
 
INSIDE THE NUMBERS:
  • Junior Sofia Shebookjian posted a career high of 16 saves in goal.
