PITMAN, N.J. – William Paterson freshman outfielder
Tyler Garguilo (Paramus, N.J./Paramus) became the fifth Pioneer to be honored by the league office this season when he was named the April 15 New Jersey Athletic Conference (NJAC) Baseball Rookie of the Week.
Garguilo hit .421 (8-19) with four RBI, a triple and six runs scored last week, adding three stolen bases and three hit by pitches for a .500 on-base percentage. He was 3-for-4 with a triple, four RBI and three runs scored during a 22-14 win April 9 against Baruch, and finished 2-for-5 and scored a run in an 11-3 victory April 13 at Rutgers-Camden.

Jimmy Kenny (Fairfield, N.J./West Essex) were named the March 11 NJAC Player of the Week and Rookie of the Week, respectively. Kenny repeated as the Rookie of the Week on March 18, junior third baseman
Rich Guillod (Closter, N.J./Northern Valley-Demarest) was the March 25 NJAC Player of the Week and freshman
Frankie Colasante (Paramus, N.J./Paramus) was the April 8 NJAC Rookie Pitcher of the Week.
William Paterson (19-7, 7-2 NJAC) will host The College of New Jersey Monday, April 15, at 3:30 p.m.
