Amanda Sheehan (Boonton, N.J./Boonton) scored her second goal of the night, lifting William Paterson (4-1) to a 2-1 victory at FDU-Florham (2-4) in field hockey action Sept. 15.

Chelsea Winkelspecht (Sicklerville, N.J./Washington Twp.), came with 45 seconds remaining on the clock after Winkelspecht carried the ball along the end line and fed Sheehan for the go-ahead score. Sheehan tied the match 15 minutes earlier when she finished off a pass from classmate
Jennie Hara (Washington Twp., N.J./Washington Twp.).
Following a scoreless first half, the Devils' Jackie Gale started the scoring at the 48:29 mark when she knocked in a rebound.
Senior
Christina Auger (Wayne, N.J./Wayne Hills) made six saves for the Pioneers, while Meghan O'Neil had eight stops for FDU-Florham.
William Paterson will begin New Jersey Athletic Conference (NJAC) action Saturday, Sept. 19, when the Pioneers host No. 10 Rowan at 1:00 p.m.
