WAYNE, N.J. – Baseball senior first baseman Will Courter (Roseland, N.J./West Essex) was named the William Paterson Pioneer of the Week March 16.

Courter hit .727 (8-11) with four RBI, three runs, a double and a triple at the Greater Phoenix Invitational, all while compiling a .966 fielding percentage (one error in 29 chances) at first base. He was 3-for-4 with a RBI in a 5-4 loss to Marian March 13, and went 1-for-3 with two walks and two RBI during a 6-1 win against Brockport March 14. Courter finished 4-for-4 against No. 23 Wheaton March 15, hitting a double and triple while scoring three runs and driving in a score.
