WAYNE, N.J. – Men’s basketball senior guard Courtney Nelson (Newark, N.J./Bloomfield Tech) was named the William Paterson Pioneer of the Week Feb. 2.

 

Nelson averaged 20.0 points, 6.0 rebounds and 4.0 steals per game last week for the Pioneers. He scored a game-high 24 points while collecting a team-best seven rebounds and five assists during a 76-66 loss at Montclair State Jan. 28, and posted 16 points, five rebounds, three assists and two blocked shots during a 62-49 win against Kean Jan. 31.
