WAYNE, N.J. – Men’s basketball junior guard Gabriel Paul (Hillside, N.J./Hillside) was named the William Paterson Pioneer of the Week Feb. 8.

Paul led all scorers with a career-high 25 points during a 72-65 win against Ramapo Feb. 3, adding five rebounds and four assists against the Roadrunners.  The victory, the 19^th straight for William Paterson, clinched the overall top seed, and with it a first-round bye, for the upcoming NJAC Tournament.  Paul was 7-for-10 for 15 points during the first half, and scored five points during a 9-1 run that helped put the game away late, giving WP a 69-59 edge with 52 seconds left.
